Privacy policy

This privacy notice describes how Hit the Road Dude AI handles information needed to create and deliver your video.

Your account and purchase

Google sign-in supplies the account information you choose to share, such as your name, email address and profile image. We use it to identify your account, associate your purchase and let you access your private videos. Payment is handled through Waffo. We store order references, payment status, amounts and necessary transaction records, rather than your payment card details.

Input photos

A selected photo stays in your browser until you start checkout. We store the submitted photo with your video request so a paid generation or retry can use it. After a completed video is saved, we remove that input from our database. Otherwise, the input is automatically cleared after seven days. You can remove a stored input using the control in My clips. These periods apply to the input copy stored by this website.

AI video processing

We send your photo and generation instructions through OpenRouter to the selected AI provider to create your video. These services process the input and generated result to fulfill your request. The AI provider may retain copies under its own policies. Removing a photo or video from this website does not automatically delete copies already processed by those services.

See the OpenRouter privacy policy and its provider data policies for information about processing, retention and training practices. Our website's seven-day input limit and 30-day video storage period apply to the copies we store, independently of those policies.

Your saved videos

We save the resulting video in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Sign in with the Google account used for your purchase to watch or download it. The video expires 30 days after it is saved, and expired videos are automatically deleted. Your order and generation status remain in your account after the video expires.

Usage measurement

We use first-party anonymous visitor and session identifiers to understand visits, navigation, photo selection, checkout actions and download requests. We also record payment and generation outcomes to operate the service. Analytics do not include photo contents, uploaded filenames, passwords, private media links or payment card information.

Your choices

You can remove a stored input photo and download your video before its expiry. Signing out ends access from the current session. Only upload images you are entitled to use.
